The key difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org is who is actually hosting your website.
With WordPress.org, you host your own site. With WordPress.com, on the other hand, it’s WordPress.com that takes care of all of this for you but with some restrictions.
Band Theme will work on WordPress.com but there are limitations, such as no custom domain name, file size limits, plugin restrictions and more.
You must also purchase the WordPress Business plan to upload your theme if you’re using WordPress.com.
