Choose & purchase a Domain Name

Your domain name is the name of your website – the part that someone would type into the address bar to view your site (e.g. www.example.com).

It’s such a crucial part of your website we even wrote an article about it…

At Band Theme we do not currently provide a domain name service, but if you need a domain name there are many providers out there. We would recommend 123-Reg. You will be able to search for your required domain name and see if it is already taken.

Once you have purchased your domain name you will need to update your DNS (Domain Name Server) records to point to your hosting.

If you purchased your hosting with Band Theme, either through a package or by itself , you simply need to update your DNS A-Records to point to:

185.53.56.90

This will mean that your domain name is pointing to your hosting and your website will display on the internet.

Please be aware that DNS changes can take 24 – 48 hours to fully propagate.
