Optimising images
Before uploading any images to Band Theme, please ensure they are properly compressed. This reduces the file size and will help your site’s load times whilst decreasing the pressure on your server.
We recommend two methods for compressing images.
- Photoshop (for developers) – When saving an image, click the ‘Save for Web’ option
- Ting JPG (tinyjpg.com) – This site allows you to upload an image for compressing and then download the compressed image. It is extremely easy and fast, and is ideal for those with less knowledge of Photoshop
